DESIGN TALK: EXPERIENTIAL ARCHITECTURE

Architect Héctor Ruiz and Emerio Arena, Director of Room Magazine

Interior design will be the protagonist on Thursday, March 23rd. The headquarters of Cosentino, in Palma, will host the Design Talk that will revolve around the theme “experiential architecture”, with the participation of the prestigious architect Héctor Ruiz, CEO of Ruiz Velázquez arquitectura y diseño; and Emerio Arena, director of Room Magazine.

Héctor Ruiz, a renowned architect born in Puerto Rico and based in Spain since 1992, founded his own multidisciplinary studio based in Madrid more than twenty years ago, offering projects from the discipline of architecture, through design, communication and branding. Ruiz has positioned himself as a reference in the world of architecture and design and has won numerous awards and recognitions in the international press.

Emerio Arena is the co-founder of ROOM Diseño, a leading magazine on architecture, design and art that focuses on “non-normative design, peripheral and even dissident proposals”. A publicist by training and with a long career in art direction and graphic design, in 2012 he launched his own magazine, where he performs the functions of editor-director, art director, design and content management.
