One of the key points and the most important when it comes to developing a collection is the creative process. Every designer needs to resort to sources of inspiration and reinterpret from there, develop and create new shapes and volumes to achieve those designs that bring to life their collection.
In this creative development, the designer investigates, gathers information and plays with the concepts to reach a certain idea. The materials, colors, textures, volumes and shapes will come out from all that inspiration; hence the importance of emphasising this essential part of the work of any design student or professional designer.
As proof, today we will show you part of the creative work of the master students of the FIT of New York, where starting off a Balenciaga, Dior, Givenchy or Chanel classic design, they have made their own reinterpretation. You can appreciate in the pictures, the inspiration panels and investigation of this creative process.
