Last September, we traveled to Valencia to visit the Habitat fair, and we want to start this publication expressing our deepest condolences to all the victims and Valencian families who have lost their loved ones, to all the entrepreneurs of the sector related to the design that, in some way, have been affected by this catastrophe. From Mallorca Design Day we want to offer them all our support and affection, and we are at your side in these hard moments.

From our visit to the fairgrounds, we want to highlight the level of the stands and exhibitors and as we can not refer to all of them, we will highlight two that we loved!
On the one hand we leave the Orange Fest stand of Sigfrido Serra, who together with his studio, developed the stand “Orange Forest”, an experimental installation that invites visitors to experience the warmth and texture of textiles in an inspiring architectural environment; highlighting the orange color evoking a sunset, as it indicates paid tribute to the Valencian tradition and sustainability.

On the other hand, the stand ‘Hotel Habitat’ designed by the architect and interior designer Héctor Ruiz, who has left his challenge to provide a space for new spatial sensations as projected in his designs at the fair.
We hope that design, creativity and the local Valencian industry, can resurge strongly and overcome this moment, thus contributing to the welfare and development of all.
